In the center of our store there's a colorful space called Niche by design stocked by mother-daughter design duo, Nancy Chalmers and Olivia Millwood.
You may recognize Olivia from Woodstock Market's appearance last summer on Fox 5. Olivia, an up and coming interior designer, was selected by Fox 5 producers to shop alongside news personality Paul Milliken for antique and vintage finds at Woodstock Market. Just after the show, Nancy and Olivia decided they too wanted a space at Woodstock Market to showcase their firm's vintage collection and Niche by design opened at the end of Aisle 3 in August.
Nancy, the wife of local builder Louis Chalmers, began her career as an interior designer nearly three decades ago in North Carolina. Nancy says her greatest project was working as interior designer with Heery International on the restoration of The Prince Charles Hotel. After moving to Atlanta 16 years ago, Nancy established herself locally by winning 8 awards from Atlanta Magazine as the lead designer of the Atlanta Home Builders Expo.
Niche by design offers full-service residential and commercial interior design. Their space in Woodstock Market offers vintage furniture, lighting, art, accessories, rugs, and even wallpaper.
