On the back wall of Woodstock Market, two time-worn pillars flank a large white showroom called La Maison and Le Jardin. Meaning home and garden in French, La Maison and Le Jardin is filled with romantic florals, estate style furnishings and accessories curated by long-time Atlanta antiques dealer, Sharyn Moran.
Sharyn and her friend, floral designer Larry Mebane, create the many and varied arrangements that fill the space. Our favorite is a rusted, vintage laundry hamper overflowing with bark balls, lush ferns and twigs.
Thoughtfully set dining tables are a hallmark of La Maison and Le Jardin. You will always find a beautiful farm table laden with linens, serving pieces and a centerpiece piece or two inspired by the season.
Two of the more recent items to arrive at La Maison and Le Jardin are of a larger scale than you might expect. A full pine bar that features iron hardware and even a ceiling with compartments for storage arrived week before last. A few days later, a huge wrought iron arbor popped up in front of the La Maison and Le Jardin.
