Do you know how Woodstock Market began? We started as a monthly show in the parking lot of the old Woodstock Walmart at the corner of Hwy 5 and GA 92.
After some success, we expanded with our own consignments store inside the building's garden center. And when we needed to expand again, we moved to our current location at the corner of Bells Ferry and GA 92.
Many of the vendors that started with us some years ago, still join us the first Saturday and Sunday of the month March through December for Market Days at Woodstock Market. Findings range from handcrafted soaps to locally grown foods; antiques to vintage; collectibles to handmade; metal art to architectural salvage; and unique to one-of-a-kind.
For the past few shows, a shop on wheels, Dixie Avenue, has parked at Market Days. Mobile retail is on the rise in the Atlanta area and we're happy to introduce shoppers to the trend.
We don't consider ourselves a flea market, but many of the Dos and Don'ts for Shoppers from this article on About.com apply to Market Days as well.
If you're a handcrafter or a picker, we'd love for you to join us. More information on the show and an application can be found in the Events section of our website.
Our next Market Days will be Saturday, August 2nd from 10am to 5pm and Sunday August 3rd from 11am to 4pm. Make plans to join us!
